  • Job Description: The Marketing Associate will play a key role in planning,
    executing and monitoring both traditional and digital marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility,
    drive sales growth and engage customers both online and offline. This role bridges classic marketing
    techniques, such as event marketing, print advertising
    and partnerships, with modern digital strategies like social
    media campaigns, email marketing, SEO and
    content marketing.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Digital Marketing

    Plan, create and publish engaging content across digital
    platforms (website, social media, email
    newsletters).
    Manage and grow social media channels using tools like
    Meta Business Suite and Hootsuite.
    Track and report on digital performance metrics using
    Google Analytics, Meta Insights and email
    analytics tools.
    Optimize website content for search engines (SEO) to
    improve organic reach.
    Implement email marketing campaigns using platforms like
    Mailchimp, including audience segmentation, content creation and analysis.
    Monitor trends in digital marketing and recommend
    strategies for online presence.

    Traditional Marketing

    Plan and coordinate in-store promotions, book fairs, flea
    markets, activation events, community outreach initiatives and reading campaigns to enhance brand
    visibility and engage with target audiences.
    Manage the design and distribution of print materials
    (flyers, posters, banners) in collaboration with designers and vendors.
    Support public relations activities, including any press
    releases and media coordination.
    Build and maintain relationships with schools, libraries
    and community organizations for partnerships and events.
    Assist in planning and executing offline advertising
    (e.g., billboards, road signages etc.).


    Content Creation & Brand Management


    Develop creative content that aligns with company's mission and brand guidelines.
    Ensure consistency in messaging and visual identity across
    all marketing materials.
    Maintain an organized repository of marketing assets and
    campaign materials.


    Market Research & Analysis


    Conduct regular research on industry trends, customer
    behavior and competitor activities.
    Prepare reports and insights to inform marketing
    strategies and decision-making.

    Collaboration & Coordination

    Work closely with sales, customer service and store teams
    to ensure marketing efforts align with
    business goals.
    Liaise with external vendors (designers, printers, event
    organizers) to execute campaigns effectively.


    Key Tools & Platforms

    Canva, Adobe Suite (for design)
    Mailchimp (email marketing)
    Google Analytics, Google Search Console (analytics
    & SEO)
    Meta Business Suite, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn (social
    media)
    Microsoft Office Suite (presentations, reports).

    Qualifications:

    Education :

    Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business
    Administration, or a related field.
    Experience:

    1–2 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably in
    retail, publishing, or events.
    Solid understanding of both traditional marketing
    strategies (print, events, partnerships) and digital marketing tactics (social media, SEO, email
    campaigns).

    Skills :

    Proficiency in marketing tools such as Canva, Mailchimp,
    Google Analytics, and Meta Business
    Suite.
    Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
    A passion for books, literacy and community engagement is
    a strong advantage.
